The 20-second promo was shown on the bank’s Facebook page to entice customers to save with the bank’s award-winning Ghina savings programme – and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to squirrel away a few extra Dirhams a month for the chance to win a Mercedes S63 Coupé and 1kg of gold?!
Precious metal aside, the luxury 4-door saloon was worth more than £100,000 and was lauded by Chris Harris of the BBC TV show Top Gear that it ”might be one of the best cars on sale” (watch his review here).
Clearly, the job here was to get would-be savers revved up for a very generous, double competition prize.
The read of the voice-over therefore needed to be urgent, exciting and (if you’ll excuse the pun) ‘drive’ clicks and sales interest.
