This online promotional/explainer video was the furniture decor and furnishings chain Homecentre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A similar video was also produced for Saudi Arabia.
At the time, the company was running a photography competition and so it wanted to create an explainer video to encourage snap-happy people to get involved and show off their talents. The prizes included having the winning photos sold in Homecentre stores, a Homecentre home makeover and a Nikon camera.
As there was plenty to talk up, the accompanying UK English promo voice-over had to to sound positive, enticing, excited and friendly so that people would submit their photos and take part.
